School Accountability Committee (SAC)

Created by state statue in the 1970's, this committee is comprised of parents (elected by the community), teachers, administrators, and a non-parent community member. The focus of this committee is to inform, encourage, and provide opportunities for involvement in the planning and evaluation of the school's instructional program and quality improvement processes.
